Project Kick-off

Bauer Media Group engages Silicon Reef to kick off the Bauer Hub project. The project team was formed and vision set to replace fragmented intranets with one modern SharePoint hub as part of the Next Level Bauer.

Discovery & Envision

Stakeholder workshops (UK, DE, PL) gathered requirements. Defined One Bauer intranet vision emphasizing personalisation and unified access.

Intranet Showcase

Prototype of MyBauer (home page and key pages) presented internally for feedback. Validated design and content approach; green light to proceed to build.

MyBauer Launch

Global intranet went live for ~15,000 employees. Consolidating three legacy intranet platforms into one SharePoint Online hub. Client saw immediate improvement in information access and consistency.

Personalised News

Introduced subscription-based news and targeted alerts. This allows employees to follow sites and / or topics. It also means all critical news now reaches all. Client reported boosted engagement with intranet content.

Viva Engage Communities

Launched Viva Engage communities integrated with MyBauer. Enabled two-way communication (questions and discussions) across the business. Established champions network and governance for sustainable community growth.

Continuous Improvement

Ongoing collaboration on enhancements (UI tweaks, new features) and user training. Conducted workshops and coaching to drive adoption. Bauer’s intranet and social platform usage continued to rise, aligning with evolving needs.
