Easy SharePoint Migration for a Seamless Transition to the CloudÂ
We make SharePoint migration quick, easy and seamless. Working alongside IT teams, functional leaders and employees, we help organisations of all shapes and sizes move to SharePoint Online with our simple migration process.
Whether your organisation is already using SharePoint, or moving from a legacy platform, we help businesses get up and running with a cloud-based digital workplace in SharePoint Online.
SharePoint to SharePoint Migration
We help organisations move data and files from a SharePoint server (SharePoint on-premises), to SharePoint Online. Or, from one tenant to another.
Whichever the starting destination, we make it smooth and seamless, enhancing present or future capabilities.
Migrate from Legacy Platforms
For organisations moving to Microsoft 365 for the first time, we help transfer data, files and people data from legacy platforms to SharePoint Online. With extra options including training and wider M365 integrations, we ensure businesses and employees have everything they need to get started with Microsoft.
We consider legacy working practices and file structure with permissions, ensuring the destination is at least as good as the target state.
We’re also mindful of the iterative nature of M365. We lay the foundations so the whole organisation can take advantage of the next generation of capabilities in Microsoft 365.

Why Migrate to SharePoint Online?
SharePoint Online is the cloud-based version of SharePoint. It integrates seamlessly with other Microsoft 365 apps like Teams, Viva and Power Platform. By migrating to SharePoint Online, employees can access company files and data remotely, offering far greater flexibility than legacy solutions.
Support for some versions of SharePoint on-premises has come to an end. This means it will no longer receive updates from Microsoft, including important security updates. Moving to SharePoint Online will ensure data and content remains secure.

4 Steps to Planning a Successful SharePoint Migration
Audit
Ahead of your migration, conduct a thorough assessment of your current environment – whether it’s SharePoint, or another platform.
Before you start moving data across, you need to know what you’ve got. Identify all your existing content, including documents, lists, libraries and workflows. Creating an inventory is a good way to document the size, structure and usage of each file. An audit also provides a good opportunity to assess user permissions, site hierarchies, and metadata structures.
Knowing what you’ve got before you start can help ensure a smooth transition.
Define Scope & Goals
Before you begin, you should clearly define the scope and goals of your migration. Decide which content or sites need to be migrated, which content can be removed, and what the priorities are.
Setting goals will help you benchmark the success of your migration. Is your aim to consolidate platforms? Save money? Save employees time? Your goals will also help to define what your migration looks like.
Plan & Execute Your Data Migration
Create a detailed migration plan that outlines your ste-by-step process for migrating content from your old environment to the new one.
We recommended testing your migration process in a controlled environment to identify any potential challenges before rolling it out across your organisation.
Post-Migration Validation & User Training
It’s important to go through thorough validation checks to make sure all your content has been successfully migrated. User acceptable testing (UAT) can also verify that your employees can access all the files and data they need.
Providing training to employees is an important step in any migration, especially if you’re moving from a different platform. Helping your people get familiarised with SharePoint’s features and functionality can ensure a seamless transition, and help with adoption.

SharePoint Migration FAQs
Can you migrate all our content?
Do you provide training?
Absolutely. If your organisation is moving to Microsoft 365 and SharePoint for the first time, we can provide you with training on how to use and maintain your new solution, for admins, employees and champions alike.
How long does SharePoint migration take?
There are lots of factors that determine how long a migration project will take. Things like how much data you have and how many employees need to be moved over will all have an impact.
Once a project has been scoped, we’ll be able to provide a more accurate timeframe.
What other SharePoint services do you offer?
As well as SharePoint migration services, we also offer:
What is the SharePoint Migration Tool?
The SharePoint Migration Tool is Microsoft’s free migration solution. It helps organisations migrate content from on-premises servers to SharePoint Online.
For organisations moving from legacy platforms, we use other SharePoint migration tools like ShareGate.
Is it easier to start from a blank-slate?
It depends where you’re starting from.Â
There’s almost always going to be business files and data that need to come with you, whether that’s from an on-premise system or another cloud provider.Â
That doesn’t mean everything needs to come with you. We can help you through that process.Â
In terms of site structure and design, that is often easier to start fresh. If you’re moving to SharePoint for the first time, it’s a good chance to get your foundations right rather than trying to duplicate your legacy system.Â
A migration doesn’t mean you need to start everthing over, but it’s the best chance you’ll have for a spring clean and a reset.
