The Role

As a Silicon Reef Senior Solutions Developer, you will be the linchpin of the project delivery work. You will be consulted for a large number of projects throughout the year varying in size and technology requirements. You will be involved in the technical design and architecture of these solutions and will see these all the way through to delivery and bug fixing.

You will from time to time be supporting our sales activities and meeting with clients to help select and understand our technical decisions and show technical capability.

You will also help drive continuous improvement within the development cycle and supporting processes, helping to deliver a better experience for our clients and colleagues.


Technical Skills Required

  • Strong knowledge of
    • C# .NET including MVC and Web APIs
    • TML (4 and 5), JavaScript, CSS (2 and 3), Typescript, SCSS/SASS
  • Knowledge of
    • node.js, npm, gulp, yeoman, React, jQuery, bootstrap
    • DevOps and Agile processes
    • SharePoint 2013, 2016, 2019 and SharePoint Online architecture
    • PowerShell with explicit regards to using it with SharePoint
    • SPFx and Modern Components
    • XML, JSON
    • Data/Information Architecture, Enterprise Architecture and Application Design
  • Preferable knowledge of
    • knockout, angular, vue, jQuery-ui
    • Azure set up, administration and resources including Web Apps, Storage and CDNs, Virtual Machine provisioning and management, databases and Azure AD.
    • VSTS, Git and DevOps packaging and deployment processes
    • SQL, Microsoft Flow and the SharePoint PnP Framework
    • HTTP and managing/debugging web requests/responses
    • VS Code, Visual Studio, Office apps, SQL Server Management Studio, Microsoft Teams



  • Fluent in English
  • Great organisation skills and time management
  • Ability to effectively manage yourself and others without support
  • Focused on detail and able to pick apart complex problems and troubleshooting
  • A “can-do” attitude and willingness to muck in
  • Ability to work well and communicate effectively with others as part of a team
