The Role
As a Silicon Reef Project Manager, you will be the lynchpin of the project delivery work. You will be in the driving seat when it comes to managing the projects, resources, meetings, client expectations and stakeholders.
Our project management team understands our customers and the way they prefer to work and communicate, therefore you need to be an incredible communicator and planner. You will be able to adjust your style depending on the project, client and culture of the client.
Role Responsibilities will require you to:
Act as the first point of contact for our clients throughout the project delivery process. You will be handling both client relationships as well as the technical side.
Manage client engagements and organise meetings to facilitate successful project delivery. You will manage the meeting agenda, minutes and assignment of project tasks at all meetings.
Be responsible for running multiple projects concurrently and accountable for budget and time management to ensure all projects are completed in line with the statement of work.
Engage with senior stakeholders of the project to ensure complete visibility of the project status, risks log and the communication of the project plan.
Help identify opportunities for business process automation/collaboration and provide solutions that drive adoption, streamline processes and facilitate communications.
Anticipate, mitigate, identify, troubleshoot, and resolve SharePoint Online related problems and escalate incidents as necessary to either the account manager, technical team or client.
Assist the team to perform administration activities such as site provisioning, permissions management, site collection configuration, and other system administration tasks if the project requires.
Communicate and collaborate with the project team to ensure the continuous adoption of new and existing solutions, as well as maximize the full functionality of the SharePoint platform.
Identify opportunities to upsell services to clients and work with the account managers to convert these into projects.
Be willing to attend client site when required, to build relationships and benefit the project delivery.
Essential Skills & Experience
PRINCE2 certified or equivalent industry standard project management qualification
Strong background in Project Management and end-to-end delivery (full lifecycle management)
The ability to define project scope, goals and deliverables
Experience in full project budget ownership, ability to track project spend and provide full financial forecast
Experience of Risk and Issue management – producing and managing RAID logs
Create and manage detailed project delivery plans
Provide and present update reports and client roadmaps internally and externally
3 years (minimum) experience working for a fast-paced agency or consultancy
Experience working with and understanding SharePoint and Microsoft 365 applications
Environment-friendly and pro-community mindset
Ideal Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent knowledge and experience (3 years relevant experience)
Excellent time management skills
Strong customer relationship and problem-solving skills
